on reasonably moving in

I moved in to our Apartment/Office last September 10. The house was a mess and there weren’t any fixed schedule on household chores like who cooks and washes the dishes, and who takes out the trash. Frankly, I don’t care whatever task they assign to me so long as the tasks are divided reasonably. I’m a bit hesitant with my cooking though, which makes me wish I enrolled in a culinary school like http://www.chefs.edu/ during one of my summers in college. Still, everything can be learned if you are willing and persistent. So cooking, though challenging, is okay.
The move in is a great experience for me to be independent though. So in spite of our differences in how to manage our apartment, I decided to bear with the situation. My colleagues and I were able to come up with a reasonable schedule, and even ended up hiring someone to come in for lunch and breakfast to cook and wash the dishes. That way, we’ll avoid dilemmas like “unfair labor practice” and have more time to be productive in office work instead of doing household chores.
