on falling in love with the same person several times

I recently watched a true-to-life story on TV about a guy who cheated on his wife to the extent of having the mistress live in their dream house and assume the wife’s role to their children. The wife only found out about this when she returned home after working abroad for several years to pay off their mortgage and to save enough cash to put up a small business in her hometown.
She was devastated. Still, she fought for her husband because she loved her children and they both owe it to their children to make their marriage work. After several horrid ordeals from the sly mistress, she was successful. It took her a long time though to recover, as expected, and it was only after 12 years that she was able to finally get the chip off her shoulder, forgive the mistress, and be decisively happy.
This is a sheer example that there is no such thing as a perfect marriage. There will always be problems within the relationship. It is a matter of settling your differences in an adult manner and accepting the fact that marriage life is not all honey and romance. Marriage involves falling in love with your wife or husband several times. And these kiss-and-make-up events make your relationship sweeter and more concrete.
