on buying snowboards

It’s almost snowboarding season! For those planning to buy snowboards, here are some basic snowboard information you should know.
There are three main types of snowboards - Freestyle, Freeride (All Mountain), and Alpine (Carving) Boards. For beginners like me, it is best to go for a Freeride snowboard since its only focus is on enjoying the ride and exploring all there is on a mountain. For experts who want to focus on jumps, tricks, rail slides, halfpipes, and switch riding, Freestyle snowboard is for you. For those into speed and the ultimate carving turn in Snowboarding, you should go for Alpine Snowboards.
Still, before you buy a snowboard, do keep in mind that most of the time, a snowboard is designed for a particular purpose. It will not perform well if you do not use it in the terrain it is intended for.
