knowledge updates - a competitive edge

Writing by wisteria on Monday, 28 of May, 2007 at 8:22 am

Education does not stop when you receive your high school or college diploma. Life is a continuous learning process. As Edward Albert Filene affirmed, “If a man’s education is finished, he is finished.”

In this highly competitive era where “survival of the fittest” is the main theme, equipping yourself with proper or further education will give you a definite edge and even boost your confidence in every aspect. “But I’m on a tight schedule,” you reason out. Just so you know, this type of excuse is no longer plausible. A lot of schools nowadays, such as Collins College, are offering a virtual campus setup wherein you have the freedom to take certain courses at any time of the day.

Given the availability of online classes, and the fact that knowledge updates is an undeniably great asset, I suggest you start searching online for a course and schedule that will be suitable in increasing your market value and enhancing your skills.

Do keep in mind that, “Education is only a ladder to gather fruit from the tree of knowledge, not the fruit itself (Francois Marie Arouet, Voltaire).” Whether you will benefit from it or not depends on how you will use it.
