Handouts VS. Textbooks

Written on Saturday, 15 of May, 2010 at 9:14 pm

When I was in college, handouts were commonly used. You had to go to photocopy services to get the handouts that your professor left. It takes a lot of time and effort… and make you sweat profusely, as well!

In the middle of my college years, I started missing textbooks. We used them a lot during our high school years, and I didn’t mind carrying those heavy books to school.

1) The pages weren’t so easy to tear apart.
2) It’s not too hard to find when in a pile of mess.

Sure, handouts are easy to carry around and they don’t make your bag heavy, but they’re also very damage prone, which ends up in disaster most of the time.

Ack, these are the moments where I wish I was in high school again.
