drooling over Asian cruise

Right after graduation, one of my goals was to save enough money to be able to go on an Asian Cruise. It’s been four years and I haven’t saved a single cent for that dream vacation. While absentmindedly surfing the net, I came across a blog which contains articles like the “Three Cheapest Asian Cities for Shopaholics” and “5 Weirdest Things You Can Do With Your GPS”. This triggered my almost forgotten yearning for an Asian Cruise.

Sigh. I really ought to start saving up money for the cruise so that I’ll stop drooling over articles and pictures like those. If only I could find someone to tag along with me… the trip would be more interesting. Hey wait a minute, I did find someone to go with me! My Nth level friend. ^_^ Very exciting!

I remember the days when boys would bring boom boxes to the houses of girls they’re courting and raise the boom box high up in the air while playing some song. You can still see matinee idols doing that on old movies.

Since our society today is fast paced and we develop new stuff everyday, we have various kinds of mp3 players like iPods. They’re so handy and awesome! I used to be a fan of CD players, but then I realized that these iPods would be better ’cause you wouldn’t have to change CDs every eighteen songs or so.

I have an iPod nano, the old version, and I can say I’m contented with it. It even has accessories that can help you attach your iPod to your arms while doing strenuous activities like jogging. (A lot better than carrying a huge cd player or boombox while working or jogging!)

Thank God for technology!

A friend of mine asked me recently, “does Lipovox work?” ‘cause she’s been planning to lose weight, and is looking for current diet pills to help her make things easier.

Clean Your Sinks!

I’ve noticed that our sinks at home are pretty much ignored, so they’re building up dirt on the sides. I cleaned them and now they’re spic and span!

If you don’t keep your sink clean, then various diseases related to water would most likely be experienced by you and your family members. We wouldn’t want that, ‘cause that would add more expenses to you, thus reducing your budget for other necessities, so don’t forget to clean your most loved sink!

Is Acne Treatment Really Useless?

What if you really have a lot of acnes on your face and your back and you get teased by everyone that you look like an acne that grew a face? My sister just came home from Laguna and she told me about her IT1 Lab section. They had an exercise where they’d choose various parts for their computer—one that could fit their price range but still work decently fast. One of these parts is the video card.

This is usually appreciated nowadays by gamers, ‘cause games nowadays need the latest video card to work. High resolutions and such are needed, so gamers look for high-tech video cards. These cards can bring gaming to a whole new level, and make it into a new experience. Buy these at the right price, of course.

Have you ever used a GPS before? They’re pretty useful, even my brother uses his when he travels, especially when he drives to remote places. He marks them down on his map so he won’t get lost when he comes back.

There are various designs and features of these gadgets in our market and we should buy what is most convenient for us, as I always say, please make sure that you don’t end up regretting what you bought ‘cause you think you wasted your hard earned money on it! Look for the quality, ‘cause just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it’s good. Alright?

Old Fashioned

My mom has always warned me about the hazardous effects of diet pills. She’s never tried it before, and she advised me never to try it since I was young. Maybe it’s ’cause she is old fashioned, and like most people of her generation, she can’t fully embrace the new things that our fast-paced society has to offer.
