It’s the month where most weddings happen in the year! They say that June is the best month in the year to get married. Do you ever wonder why? I’ve read in a book that it’s the month where the Romans pay reverence to Juno, the goddess of marriage so they claimed that marrying in June would be lucky since you might have a chance of Juno giving you a blessing of some sort.
I’ve been invited to a lot of weddings as a bridesmaid, and I can say that finding bridesmaid gifts to give to the bride is pretty hard, so if you have any to recommend, please feel free to comment!

My sister has been stressing herself out in gaining wait this summer vacation. She does nothing but to pig out and to sleep all day. Most adolescents here in the Philippines have weight problems. Some are too skinny for their height and age, others are a wee bit too healthy for their height and age, too.
Even adults think about various ways to help increase or prevent weight loss, depending on the nature of one’s body.
It’s becoming an epidemic, I tell ye! What do you think?
Maybe it’s just ’cause we want to be stereotypes. We are who we are! If we try to be like everyone else, then we won’t stand out and no one will notice us! And we shouldn’t try to change that. In my opinion, being yourself is all that you can do. If people hate you for that, then let them be! It’s their loss. As Kurt Cobain says, “I’d rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I am not.”

Having recently been absent for two consecutive Thursdays because of my wisdom tooth extraction and suture removal, getting a leave request form approved was pretty impossible. So I went to my university February Fair last Friday with an excuse of hiring OJTs for my company just so they would approve my leave.
It worked, and with that approval, I was able to help my company and experience the best Feb Fair days of my life at the same time. My overnight stay there is an entire memory worth freezing and looking back into every now and then.
I met lots of old friends – Sir Edmund, Garry, Randwin Rico, Niño, Audric, Tin-Tin and Marcoe, and for the first time in four years (after I graduated), I had long, reminiscing and nostalgic conversations with them. I’m so thankful I did not go to my usual “go around the Feb Fair, say hi, then leave to just hang out at my friend’s apartment” routine. Otherwise, I would have missed those mishaps, funny, and touching moments.
Thank you guys for the memories. I’ll definitely be back for next year’s Feb Fair to make more memories with you. ^_^

Pens have aided us humans for ages. They’re our most precious pals. We use them in everyday life. We used them to write our notes and formulas when we were still students. Journalists use them to write their interviews or articles, and secretaries use them to write down important information. We use pens to write to our loved ones, enemies and acquaintances. They are also used by famous people to sign autographs and important documents.
You can say that pens have helped many great men to become what they are today. So next time you see a pen, whether cheap or expensive, show appreciation ‘cause they all have the same purpose: to personalize things, imprint our insignia, and to help us make life easier.
