Few years ago, with a group of students; I visited Sydney, one of the big cities in Australia. The Sydney accommodation that we had was arranged by our school head. It was during the trip I learned there are places to stay in Sydney that are cheaperthanhotels. This information and experience will be very useful for I am now finalizing the plans in my business trip to Australia, with leisure and visitations. Yes, it will be shooting three birds in one shot, they say. I will visit my relatives and friends in Australia, who are residing in three different places: Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.
This is what I intend to do. As soon as I arrived in Australia, I will stay in the same cheaperthanhotel, which provided Sydney Accommodation to us when we were then students. From Sydney I will proceed to Adelaide, which is about two hours by air. I already noted which of the Adelaide Hotels is closely situated at the house of my relative. While in Adelaide, I will make sure to sample the variety of tastes on offer at the famed Adelaide Central Market. I was told that this city has so many things to see and do, thus I should stay here longer.
Then from Adelaide, I will fly to Perth to visit my friends in High School. Perth is Adelaide’s nearest city. Similarly, as what I did in Adelaide, I will book at the Perth Hotel that provides good accommodation at discounted prices and is situated conveniently in the city. Now, that I had finalized my in-coming trip to Australia, all I have to do is to pack up and wait for the d-day. I knew as a general rule for traveler, “travel light”. With this guide, I will travel light in baggage and expenses.

I still recall vividly this nursery rhyme I learned in school, “Pussy cat, pussy cat, where have you been? I’ve been to London to visit the queen.” Since then, I kept on dreaming to go to London to visit the queen. This coming Christmas, my family is preparing for family tour in United Kingdom (UK) and guess where in UK? It will be in London, Manchester and Birmingham.
Everyone is excited for this family bonding activity. As such, to fully enjoy the vacation we asked our friends and relatives who have been in UK to recommend places for us to see and the unique things we can do there. Our budget for this trip will not be that much as others may think, because there are cheaperthanhotels that offers last minute and year round accommodations with free inclusions at reasonable prices/rates often less than directly at the hotel, hostels or serviced apartments rather than staying in exclusive Hotels in London, Hotels in Manchester and Hotels in Birmingham.
Our money to be saved from staying at cheaperthanhotels in London will be spent in visiting the queen at Burkingham Palace. We will make sure to watch the 40-minute Royal Ceremony, Changing of the Guard inside the palace railings. We will visit too the British Museum, the oldest museum founded in 1753.
While in Manchester, we intend to see the internationally famous collection of Pre-Raphaelite paintings at the Manchester Art Gallery. It is good to note that the Gallery has free admission. The Chatsworth House and Garden is also in our list of areas to be visited at Manchester. The house was built in1555 by Bess of Hardwick for this has 17 richly furnished rooms as part of the main house, as well as a set of 9 Regency bedrooms - Scots Rooms.
In Birmingham, I list four areas to see from Birmingham’s Top Ten Attractions. These places are Birmingham Zoo, Vulcan Park, Alabama Adventure and Birmingham Museum of Art. For dad, he will not let go, the privilege to play golf at the world-class Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.
And to remind us of this most awaited family vacation where we will spend less than expected, each of the family member will have a share of the savings to have the opportunity to do the unique shopping in these places. I thank in advance the cheaperthanhotels, for we will not only be able to visit the queen’s palace, but will bring home souvenirs as well from this dream to come true.

Whenever people come to a decision that they are in dire need of hiatus, they generally opt to go to places where they can forget about work and their problems. They start planning on a secluded romantic, active, or relaxation getaway to compensate for their busy and sometimes exhausting routine.
Now when this happens to you, you ought to make sure that your vacation is worth it. Otherwise, you would just have wasted your money and your precious leaves from work.
One of the best places to go for an escapade is in Hawaii. Not only can you hike, boat, snorkel and whale watch in an unaffected, natural habitat, you can also stay in unique places, such as villas, with your family and/or friends so you can spend more quality time with them. Do try a Kauai Vacation.
To ensure that you achieve maximum pleasure from your trip, I suggest you visit websites like the Hawaiian Beach Rentals which offers KAUAI VACATION PACKAGES and allows you to plan a customized, unique, memorable, and even environmentally-friendly vacation at economical rates.

Drained from work, I decided to browse over some websites during break and encountered this, “Before you start some work, always ask yourself three questions - Why am I doing it, What the results might be and Will I be successful. Only when you think deeply and find satisfactory answers to these questions, go ahead.”
As of the moment, I am not satisfied with my answers to those three questions. But then again, I am still able to “work to live” and NOT “live to work”. That is, I can still squeeze in some time to meet up with my friends and I am still capable of spending some dough in out-of-towns. I guess my breaking point will be when my main existence revolves on my job. Until then, I am going to continue looking at leisuretime promotion brochures and websites and enjoy the “fruits of my labor” (or what’s left of it).

The internet is a fantastic place to find the right holiday deal for you. Nevertheless, doing online research is still not the same with being reassured by a knowledgeable travel staff. Consequently, when searching for a holiday deal, find a travel site that offers hassle free booking with over the phone trip advice from travel experts.
A good example of this website is HolidayHypermarket.co.uk. It doesn’t only offer those services; it also provides a holiday search engine wherein you can find bargain holidays, inexpensive flights and late deals from UK’s leading brand tour operators. From quaint cultural style Kefalonia holidays to popular Mediterranean holidays, the website has it all.
Happy holiday hunting! ^_^

I just want to share with you my mom’s musings about one of her dream places to be in - Brisbane:
According to William Jennings Bryan, “Destiny is not a matter of chance; it is not a thing to be waited for; it is a thing to be achieved.” Not even in my wildest dream that I thought I will set foot in Australia about ten (10) years ago. The travel was organized for a week with its blow by blow activities. To my dismay, Brisbane was not included in our itinerary. As such, I told myself, “You are destined to be at Brisbane.”
Today, after a decade, I am preparing for an out of the country invitation to conduct a one day lecture on “Work Ethics” at Brisbane. The organizer assured me of a good Accommodation in Brisbane for two persons in one of the hotels in Brisbane, since I am traveling with my husband. I told them of our intention to extend our stay and requested them to help us look for cheap hotels in Brisbane. We don’t want to miss the opportunity to visit the tourist spots at Brisbane such as Mt. Coot-tha lookout, South Bank, Cultural Centre, Love Pine, City of Botanic Gardens, and Mt. Coot-tha Botanic Gardens. Since we will be able to save money for availing of cheap hotels in Brisbane, I’ll treat my husband, who is a retired naval officer to A Trip on the River, and go to Moreton Bay. And our last day will be spent strolling at Rome Street Parkland.
Are you also destined to be at Brisbane? Would you also like to experience what my parents are about to? Remember my mom’s advice - for vacation to be more memorable and enjoyable, travel with your loved ones.

Five years ago, my parents were included as part of our country’s delegation to attend an international conference in Spain. They saved money for this activity, and were granted visa. However, the nature of their work prevented them from savoring the Spanish cuisine, visiting the tourist attractions in Spain such as Béjar and Ronda, and spending a leisure time in a Hotel in Barcelona.
Recently, my mom was informed that another international conference in Spain for their group is being finalized. Thus, this early, my mom is getting organized for this event by using travelogues to reach more destinations. Since Madrid Accommodation will not be included in the conference, I told her to avail of Cheap Hotels in Madrid so she can bring home a lot of souvenirs for us.

A total of 40 Asian students were invited to join the educational tour in Australia as part of their curriculum. Everything had been arranged from visa to transportation, including the Melbourne Accommodation. My mom considers herself lucky to be one of the students in the tour because she didn’t have to spend a cent. In fact, they were even given extra money for their allowance.
Some of her companions requested to bring their family with them. These were the well-to-do who can afford to pay the extra expense of bringing other people to the tour (they also have to pay for their companions’ Accomodation in Melbourne of course). When my mom saw them as a family going to places in Melbourne, she couldn’t help but regret not bringing us, her family, with her.
Given another opportunity to visit Melbourne, even with her small savings, my mom promised to see to it that she’ll bring us with her for a vacation since traveling is better enjoyed with your loved ones. To cut down on the expense, she said we’ll avail of cheap hotels in Melbourne. That way, we we’ll have more money to spend on sight-seeing and on other activities in the area.

The second-largest of the Hawaiian Islands is the island of Maui. With the Festival Month of Maui coming up this August, I suggest you start checking out Maui vacation rentals and choose from luxury ocean front homes or island resorts.
The Festival begins on August 5 with the 5th Annual Maui Sugar Plantation Festival. This is a celebration of sugar plantation heritage which highlights one of Maui’s most significant cultural heritages. This is followed by the 18th annual edition of the Maui Onion Festival which features celebrity chef demonstrations and of course, the Maui onion recipe contest. The August Festival ends with the Aloha Festivals – Hawaii’s most important cultural events which is intended to preserve the unique island traditions by a celebration of Hawaii’s music, dance and history.
Looks like an enchanting, activity-filled August getaway? Definitely! So start booking in the “valley Isle”!
