The Pros of Playing Games

Written on Sunday, 3 of July, 2011 at 11:39 pm

Have you ever heard of massive multiplayer online role playing games?

I have. I was once addicted to these types of games. The specific game that I spent about ten years of my life playing was Ragnarok. I didn’t play just for the sake of leveling up and getting a lot of gold. I played because I liked the thought of interacting with other people from across the globe, getting to know them and being able to do something with them.
At one point I played too much that I mistook Gold for Cash. My parents began to worry. At first they thought it was just a phase, but I started to ignore the rest of the world and I opted to stay in the house instead of socializing with my friends like any other normal girl would do.
Thanks to that game, I started earning a lot of money and I improved my programming skills. You see, games aren’t too bad if you learn to control yourself.

Social networking nowadays are becoming more fun and convenient especially for the “single and looking”.

Aside from the usual free dating, websites like Friendsation offers free live chat via multiple mediums and free phone chat all over the United States to be able to facilitate more interaction. What’s more is that you can flirt while blogging as well because it offers personals and bloggings. For PodCasters out there, you’d be happy to know about Friendsation’s new feature – the up and coming myPodCasts.

choose your own teacher or student

Written on Saturday, 29 of September, 2007 at 1:27 am

While canvassing on online language courses, I encountered a social networking website wherein teachers and students from all over the world can actually mingle. The website’s name is mingle only with a “Y” – mYngle.com. It is a free avenue for language teachers and students wherein one can choose your own teacher or student depending on your specific needs, availability and price.

It generally “offers a solution by providing both students and teachers in different locations with a complete online language instruction platform, containing all resources needed for synchronous e-learning.” What’s I like about this program is that students can opt to avail of a demo lesson with your selected teacher before you have to pay anything. This will definitely save you a lot of cash and ensure that you will really get what you paid for. I might try it one of these days…
