On teaching in layman’s terms

Being enrolled in three SEM coaching programs, and having recently subscribed to two SEO reputable sources, I’ve been encountering a lot of terminologies such as squeeze page, sell merchant account, and list building. They could all be pretty terrifying at first encounter. But as with everything else, once you do get to understand what they mean exactly, you then get used to them.
I do admire those who can coach in layman’s terms though. This is because most of the time, when a person gets too immersed in a particular field, they tend to forget, or sometimes even just neglect, that the people they are teaching actually have no clue about what they’re saying. More often than not, what may seem basic to those coaches is still something wherein their students have little to no understanding.
This is why, even though I already know most of the basics, I still attend seminars to get tips on how to deliver a particular message in the best, most comprehensive way to an ordinary person. After all, my future SEM clients will definitely not be knowledgeable about what I do. And the best way to rid them of all apprehension in SEM is to be able to explain to them, in layman’s term, what SEM is really all about.
