You know, one of the dreams I’ve had since I was young was a rooftop pool, and well, our new house has a big rooftop that can fit an average sized pool. I’m starting to save up for one and I’m looking up pentair pool parts to give me an idea on how much I should save up for when the installation starts, not to mention the maintenance.
I know, pools are considered to be a luxury, but I like the comfort of being able to swim on my own without being conscious of how people would react to seeing me on my swimwear. I tend to get self conscious when I’m swimming out in public, and, well, I can’t exactly take laps when I swim and am worried about what others think.
You see, I’m suffering from mild scoliosis, and my doctor highly recommends me to swim a lot since it would be helpful for my spine.
I should get this pool installed as soon as possible. If you want to swim, just holler and I’ll let you know when I’m free and when you can swim!

I went to visit my sister’s apartment in her university because she confessed that she was having issues with her roommate, and that her roommate has been seriously hard to get along with, not to mention stressful in a way that she couldn’t concentrate on her studies anymore. While I went in there and the apartment was empty, I could not help but notice how there were cords and cables EVERYWHERE.
It was an eyesore and I couldn’t help but cringe whenever I stepped on something for fear of tripping and losing a tooth if I ever fall flat on my face. I definitely need to get my sister one of those cord covers. Knowing her, she actually might fall flat on her face with a bigger chance than me.
It’s quite hard to get along with people, but there are some who just don’t know where and how to react politely and be civil. That’s the problem with her roommate, and if my sister trying to talk to her didn’t work out, I am obliged to step in and kick her out.

I kind of am considering looking for Travel Jobs. I don’t know, really. I don’t intend to quit my current job, but I guess it’s nice to know that you can still change your mind whenever you want to and that you’re not trapped inside this box and you can’t get out.
That’s kind of the way I feel right now, like everything else is planned out for me.
Sorry for the emotional post, but it’s just my way of venting out things I can’t normally tell people. I want to travel the world so I can visit my sister someday. I want to have a job where I get to see all the diverse cultures and appreciate each and every one of them.
On the list of places I want to go to, though, I’d definitely go to New York to see my sister first. She just left a while ago and I already miss her. Not to mention the free haircuts! Hahaha.

I just randomly thought of something brilliant. I’m not exactly sure if this has been invented before, but what if there was golf gps software embedded on golf balls it would be easier to keep track of where they end up in when you whack them?
I do know it takes us about twenty minutes just to look for the ball everytime I whack it. I’m the only one in my group of friends who fails at playing golf so much.
Sorry for the randomness, I just try to preoccupy myself with a lot of things to forget about everyone else being able to watch the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 movie without me.
THIS CANNOT BE THE END OF POTTER! IT JUST CAN’T. IT BREAKS MY HEART. I’ve always been a fan of Harry Potter and wondered why I wasn’t born in London with that beautiful accent. And now they’re all grown up and big and old and beautiful and wonderful! What is this!!

I suddenly remembered the days when I started my internship. My boss made me and my co-interns wear name tags because there were too many of us and they couldn’t memorize our names instantly.
I ended up wearing the name tag for just a day, and most of them were able to know us by name by the end of our first day.
It’s a good thing there only six interns. I believe teamwork and rapport would be hard to establish if there were, say, more than ten interns who just met and have to work on a project for one month. It would be easier if you knew each other’s pace and figured out how much you have to work on to be able to keep up with one another.
It’s not too easy working with people you just met, but it really depends on how flexible a person is. Being versatile is always a good thing and almost every job needs that.

My little sister is currently in college and apparently custom laptops are the latest trend. Since she is under a BS Computer Science curriculum, naturally, most of them have laptops or family computers of their own, and with them having to bring their laptops to their laboratory classes most of the time, it’s quite hard to determine which person owns a certain laptop if more than one of them has the same model.
My sister made me come with her while she looked for skins and laptop bags, and I can say the designs are quite amusing. I ended up buying a purple skin and a matching bag myself!
I like adding a little touch of personality to my own things. It kind of expresses who I am and what I like in life, not to mention it makes everything even just a little prettier! Who wouldn’t want that?!

Do you remember the time when you were out at summer camp? Those fun activities, team building games, getting to know each other, and competitions for fame and glory?
Do you remember seeing your first crush and worrying about your first move? Do you remember worrying about what to put in your bag because you wouldn’t want to forget anything important in your trip?
I miss it. Lately all I’ve been doing is work, and the only free time I actually get to have fun would be drinking out late with my colleagues.
I miss sleeping in Lightweight Backpacking Tents and feeling the earth beneath the tent floor.
I miss the shadow stories people make up with flashlights, and all the scary stories by the fire while eating marshmallows and all that.
What do you miss doing?

My friends and I decided to take a few days break from work and just relax and unwind on the city where we all met way back during our college days.
We checked in a hotel and did nothing but have loads of fun! My friend made the itenerary, she filled it with fun activities like swimming and trips to landmarks we haven’t ever visited.
Most of us hesitated as we took off our bath robes and jumped to the pool. We just weren’t in the right shape like we used to be, and I couldn’t help but notice how my best friend had acne on her back. I asked her what happened, and she told me since she decided to have long hair, the whole situation happened.
I recommended a couple body acne products and went on and started reminiscing the good old college days.
Sometimes it’s nice to unwind and get away from all the stress that everyday life gives you.

I went with my family to Cavite yesterday to celebrate the New Year with our relatives. Along with the new year, my nephew Reinald also had his Christening, so we decided to celebrate at a local family restaurant and organized a kiddie party.
My aunt was quite grateful for we volunteered to shoulder the expenses for her. She was worried they didn’t have enough to pay for everything so my brother and I shared all the expenses and paid for it.
I had a hard time convincing my brother to actually pay for everything, but in the end he gave in. He’s a nice guy, really, he just needs a bit of a push to do something for someone else.
Before we left the place, our aunt gave us a grateful smile and gave each of us baby thank you cards. It had photos of our cute little nephew in it, it was just plain adorable.
I like the feeling of helping others out, it’s such a satisfying feeling.

As I was talking to my friends outside a cafe, the discussion ended up in a debate on why Dutch Master cigars is better than most cigar brands out there, and I’ve learned quite a couple of things about it.
Apparently the brand started in 1911, and its packaging contains the Staalmeesters. It has varieties like Belvedere, Honey Sports, Perfecto, President.
I found the names of the varieties quite amusing, too. And given the recommendations I got from my experienced smoking friends, I might actually give it a shot someday.
In other news, I am seriously craving for coffee. Coffee and cigars are definitely the best match for me.
What do you like to do when you smoke? Do you have some sort of smoking ritual that you can’t do without?
