Last week, I’ve decided that it’s time to move forward and join a new company. So, in spite of the fact that my new job offer does not include health coverage or benefits, which means I need to start going through life insurance leads and avail one for my own, the compensation and growth and career opportunity in the new company definitely outweighs that minor inconvenience. Consequently, I formally resigned from my company of six years.
Creating a resignation letter was actually quite a breeze for me because I simply just recycled the one I used in 2007. However, I had never found the need to bid farewell to my colleagues until now. I did research on “How to inform your colleagues about your resignation” and was able to come up with the goodbye-let’s-still-keep-in-touch letter below. It’s a personal email to be sent to your colleagues. After all, you wouldn’t want to burn the bridges now, won’t you? Hope this letter helps!

Fed up with my CEO’s unfair treatment and inability to manage people, I have decided to go forth and seek for another career opportunity where I could definitely bloom to my fullest. Time for job applications and interviews…
Before those though, I need to make myself more presentable. The eye wrinkles I’ve accumulated due to stress in my current job are becoming more apparent. Also, I need to look more relaxed, not desperate. Hmmm… at the moment, what I need is to buy a good eye cream for wrinkles and schedule myself for a full body massage to relieve the tension on my back.
Oh, and I’ll need to get myself some interview clothes and shoes as well. Hehehe. I know it sounds like I’m just making up a good excuse to go shopping 0;) but trust me when I say that during interviews, how you carry yourself and how you look, from head to toe, matters – not just your curriculum vitae or resume. After all, how you present yourself speaks volumes of your character.
Wish me luck!

My favorite adage, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”, was quoted by the guest speaker during the graduation rites of my sister. The speaker also emphasized that graduation is just the beginning of further studies in another field, the real life situation.
It is therefore expected that every graduate is hoping to get a high paying job soonest. With this the applicants need to make the first single step, that of preparing a good resume so as to impress the human resource officer of the companies they are applying. As for my friend Dianne, she owes a lot in the resume templates she visited on the website. This served as her guide in preparing her resume and this step helped a lot in making her successful.
Today, Dianne is making her real journey in the different parts of the world as a key officer in the business world. And remember, she just took the first single step to begin her journey of a thousand miles.

I hate being cooped up in a work station interacting with the same people, commuting to work, catered unpalatable lunches, and all those routines. Thats why I decided to just work for part time at my current job and explore a home based business.
With creativity and dedication, there are a lot of things you can do at your own pace at home while earning money. An example of this is handcrafted fashion jewelry, baking by request, or even freelance writing. So why go through the ordeal of your work routine when you can earn while staying at home?

Known for being clean, unspoiled, and of course the highlands, Scotland has a highly developed western-style open-mixed economy. Scotlands financial services centre and the sixth largest financial centre in Europe in terms of funds under management is Edinburgh.
Currently, Scotland welcomes bright, talented, hardworking people who can make a positive contribution to their economy through their Fresh Talent initiative. The Fresh Talent initiative aims to attract people from around the world to work in Scotland.
Some of the best job opportunities are in Edinburgh. This is because many large finance firms such as the Royal Bank of Scotland (the second largest bank in Europe) and HBOS (owners of the Bank of Scotland) are based there.
With Scotlands beautiful scenery combined with thousands of historic sites and attractions, having a job in Edinburgh is definitely a grand opportunity.
