There are many possible acne treatments out there, but not all are natural. Some can get rid of your pimples now, but can cause long-term damage to your skin in the future. Your best bet is to go for natural acne treatments.
One popular and effective natural treatment for acne is tea tree oil. This can be very potent, so drop only a little into your areas of concern. You can also dilute it with water. There are products containing tea tree oil, but be wary and check the other ingredients listed.
Another natural acne treatment is to put a bit of toothpaste on the pimple and leave it overnight. Your pimple should reduce in redness and swelling by morning. The same principle also applies to aloe vera gel. Just put a small amount on your pimple and leave it. Both toothpaste and aloe vera also have a soothing effect on the pimple as they have a cool feel.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I got to enroll in Gold’s Gym for a discounted price, thanks to my friend MJ. ^_^ This morning, with me having a day off, we decided to finally claim our temporary cards and utilize it immediately.
After signing up, one of their staff gave us a tour on the gym. The orientation is scheduled for Tuesday though. Nevertheless, I’m very happy with the facilities of the gym. I saw all the machines I needed from the list I compiled when I did some research on how to reduce stomach fat – my main and only health issue. Of course, I was very ecstatic with the steam bath and sauna. What’s really great about it is that I just found out that our membership includes us being able to join their classes for free. Guess what I saw there? Striptease classes on Wednesdays! I am so looking forward to it. 0:D

During my initial checkup with my dermatologist, two of my questions where what the two tiny brownish spots right on my cheekbones are and how I could get rid of them. Apparently, I devastatingly found out that those were age spots (sometimes called sun spots or lentigines).
The culprit? As the name implies – Sun. Those brownish spots which, over time, appear on your face and body, is actually a result of overexposure to the sun.
Age spots, are actually common and generally appear as we age. This is because as we age our skin is subjected to more and more sun damage; at the same time our skin’s natural ability to fend off UV rays from the sun begins to deteriorate. These age spots can be effectively treated with lasers. However, my dermatologist recommended that I just use an SPF 45 facial sunblock since the two brownish spots can easily be concealed and is not that visible. Thank God! Laser treatments can be pretty expensive, not to mention daunting at times.
So for those who don’t want to acquire sun spots over time, wear sunblock.

When I was in college, there was this fad about Mane and Tail being a great shampoo for hair growth. Since the shampoo was quite pricey back then and my budget was quite limited when I was in the university, I never did get to try it. My roommate Dianne, who was well-off was able to try it and confirmed that Mane and Tail shampoo really improves human hair growth. Dianne loved the smell as well and often gets complimented with her hair. She used the Mane and Tail conditioner with it of course.
I’m just not sure if this shampoo works with people who are balding though. However, for those who are growing their hair out, aside from using a hair growth improvement shampoo, here’s something to consider (I got it from yahoo answers):
if you haven’t had a cut in a while, and the ends are dead, that may be why your hair isn’t growing fast. if that’s the case, get a really cheap hair trim that just gets the ends off (be specific about not cutting any more than necessary).
this will keep the hair healthy and growing at a faster pace.
good luck and remember that in this case, be very patient
Hope this helps! ^_^

Fed up with my CEO’s unfair treatment and inability to manage people, I have decided to go forth and seek for another career opportunity where I could definitely bloom to my fullest. Time for job applications and interviews…
Before those though, I need to make myself more presentable. The eye wrinkles I’ve accumulated due to stress in my current job are becoming more apparent. Also, I need to look more relaxed, not desperate. Hmmm… at the moment, what I need is to buy a good eye cream for wrinkles and schedule myself for a full body massage to relieve the tension on my back.
Oh, and I’ll need to get myself some interview clothes and shoes as well. Hehehe. I know it sounds like I’m just making up a good excuse to go shopping 0;) but trust me when I say that during interviews, how you carry yourself and how you look, from head to toe, matters – not just your curriculum vitae or resume. After all, how you present yourself speaks volumes of your character.
Wish me luck!

I’ve had enough of my friend’s obsession with losing weight. Seeing her read lipozene review on her iPhone while we were eating in a very expensive restaurant was the last straw. She needs to get a life – in a major way.
I mean, I personally understand how insecurities can creep up and eat you alive especially those that are related to the physical aspect. But you need to know when NOT to let those things take hold of you. Otherwise you’ll be a slave to commercialism instead of the other way around. You are beautiful, just as you are. Whenever you feel otherwise, I suggest you memorize these lines from Desiderata (Latin for “desired things”, plural of desideratum) – a prose poem by Max Ehrmann about attaining happiness in life:
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

My built is actually on the thin side. My everlasting problem though is not on maintaining my current figure but on getting rid of my unusual tummy. I’ve pretty much tried a lot of exercise and even went to the extent of buying an expensive abs machine to get rid of it. Until now though, I have been unsuccessful.
I’m seriously considering phentermine and other fat burners. Then again, I’m not sure if they would help at all. I’m afraid I might just end up waaaaaaaay too thin, as in anorexic-thin, but still with a belly – definitely a horrific sight. Can anyone recommend a solution to my tummy problem?

My dad has been very conscious about his hair which has been gradually disappearing for the longest time now. I can still remember him taking care of our potted plant aloe vera, tearing one of its leaves every now and then and rubbing the sticky juice trickling down the torn leaf on his slowly balding head when I was in elementary.
I felt sorry for the potted aloe vera. If only my dad discovered back then that testosterone creams can actually help him treat hair loss, the poor plant would not have been torn and my dad would still have had his hair intact. Hehehe… But then again, aloe vera is a home remedy for hair loss. And it does work to some extent. So, might as well utilize it together with your testosterone cream for an ultimate defense against hair loss 0;)

I was on the train home yesterday after work. I was pretty beat from a hectic day so I started dozing off. I have a unique skill of being able to doze off even when standing up and keeping balanced on a moving vehicle, as I was doing on the train yesterday. I was awoken by a sudden jolt as the train halted to a stop. It wasn’t the stop that shocked me however, but what my eyes beheld in full upon being called back to consciousness.
It was the sight of a man’s nose that must’ve been a thousandth of an centimeter from my face. From where I was standing (actually at this point I was almost flat on my back in horror), I was tempted to douse him with exposed acne solution! His face was almost like a planet of oil factories with the King Acne as it’s inglorious ruler. Guys, take note, acne is not a turn on, so get yourself some kind of exposed acne solution and be rid of them.

I recently enrolled in a fast weight loss program. One of those that you see on an infomercial and would otherwise have completely ignored – but, due to my sorry and insecure state, I enrolled out of desperation. The reason for potentially fantastic waste of money is that I recently asked a good friend of mine to hook me up with her brother – who is quite a stud. He asked for a picture and she ended up showing him my profile on Facebook. When asked what he thought he said, and I quote, “I’m not into volutpuous women”.
Voluptuous? Now I’ve been called a lot of things before – “cute” being the most common description – but voluptuous? To me that’s just another word for “fat”. I enrolled in that fast weight loss program immediately. The next time he sees me he’s going to regret not choosing to call me. He’ll probably be married and have a beer belly and 3 kids by then, but I guarantee that compared to me, his wife will be more than a little “voluptuous”.
