My sister has been stressing herself out in gaining wait this summer vacation. She does nothing but to pig out and to sleep all day. Most adolescents here in the Philippines have weight problems. Some are too skinny for their height and age, others are a wee bit too healthy for their height and age, too.
Even adults think about various ways to help increase or prevent weight loss, depending on the nature of one’s body.
It’s becoming an epidemic, I tell ye! What do you think?
Maybe it’s just ’cause we want to be stereotypes. We are who we are! If we try to be like everyone else, then we won’t stand out and no one will notice us! And we shouldn’t try to change that. In my opinion, being yourself is all that you can do. If people hate you for that, then let them be! It’s their loss. As Kurt Cobain says, “I’d rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I am not.”

Most of adolescents nowadays, like my sister and her friends, usually sleep late–very late, that even when I’m sleeping I can hear their teeny bopper stories and I can’t sleep myself. Sleeping late makes them have more acne since their pores collapse and blocks sebum (oil) from escaping.
There are a lot of acne-reducing or clearing products nowadays, that we can’t help but to try all of them to see what works. Here’s my suggestion: Don’t buy these products and try the natural acne treatment instead.
Sleep early, avoid stress, and save money!

We all know that we can’t live without our digestive systems. Our digestive system helps us in processing food to make them into vitamins and minerals useful for our body, so we should in return, take care of our digestive systems to show our gratitude to its endless efforts in helping us live up to now.
If you really want to prevent your digestive system from malfunctioning or getting a disease like colon cancer, I suggest you undergo a colon cleanse as soon as possible. Not only does this clean your colon, it also helps you rebuild your colon, and return to proper functioning since as you and your body age, your colon gets a hard time doing its job.
Comments and suggestions regarding the topic are greatly appreciated.

If you’re a bit too healthy for your age, height, or whatsoever, and if you’re thinking about undergoing a diet of some sort, let me tell you this. The best diet is not by taking pills or buying expensive electrical products or teas. It’s just by self discipline. Exercise daily and regularly and you’ll be helping yourself lose a lot of weight and be beautiful in no time!
If ever you’re actually still considering taking diet pills, I suggest you try Orovo detox. This helps eliminate or reduce toxic build up which is the cause of about 70% of weight problems.
Of course these pills wouldn’t work at their best if you don’t do something about your eating habits or if you don’t exercise so don’t put your money to waste and do something!

What is the best acne treatment? That is what we all would like to know. We all have different skin types. Some have sensitive skin that just can’t accept any cheap treatment that is available. Others can just apply random treatments in their skin and have the results that they expect.
It all depends on our skin types, folks. Don’t just apply some random treatment in your skin if you know you have sensitive skin! It would be really a disaster. Try testing solutions on a small amount of your skin first. If rashes appear, then try looking for a better one. Ask your friends, for example. They just might end up having the solution that works for them and for you too.

My parents are not getting any younger. They are both retirees in the government. Now, they have more time to attend activities designed for the couples, such as live-in seminars. In the recent seminar they had, participating couples had to sleep on a cushion lying flat on the floor.
The following morning, Dad and Mom could hardly get up, till they were assisted by younger couples. We all know that as people get older, like my parents, they need platform beds with the mattress made from the most advanced memory foam. It is not advisable for them to sleep on the floor, to avoid bone injury. On their in-coming 30th wedding anniversary, my parents deserve the more satisfying gift, the platform beds.

One evening my Dad, who is a walking history book was viewing a documentary film on the lives of the former United States First Ladies. My attention was caught, when the narrator mentioned that one of the well-known first ladies gave her teenage daughter weight loss pills to maintain her figure.
I also recalled what my cousin told me regarding the school where his 5-year old son is studying. In the said school, the pupils have to maintain the standard weight. An overweight child is sent home and parents are advised to help their child attain the standard weight for him/her to be back to school.
It is best to train the person to do right at an early age. Thus, the famous adage says, “Charity begins at home”. As such, being health conscious should start at home. The love and care should be felt by the family members from the food being served on the table and the family bonding activities and exercises they do to maintain their health. If we want our children and ourselves to be happy, let us bear in mind, Health is Wealth.

I studied in a Catholic School and we were taught of the seven deadly sins - envy, pride, gluttony, lust, anger, greed and sloth. I learned also about the venial sins, which are relatively minor sins and these can be forgiven.
Recently, the Vatican updated its thou-shalt-not list. Now, the mind-damaging drugs and genetic experiments are included in the “new sins”. Monsignor Gianfranco Girotti, the head of the Apostolic Penitentiary, cited these sins “violate the basic rights of human nature” through genetic manipulation and the drugs that “weaken the mind and cloud intelligence.
Therefore, more attention should be given to the problems on drugs and the victims should have drug treatment soonest. The church and the state together with the community should work together to address this menace of the world.

I conquered Kneeboarding on my first attempt last March 21! ^_^ Amazing.
My cousins and I for the first time, went on a long trip to the watersports complex in my dad’s province without “adults” (defined as aunts, uncles, and parents in this context) to try out wakeboarding. For beginners and first-timers like me, it is advised that you start first with knee boarding. Most of us, my brother included, conquered kneeboarding in our first attempt.
After getting the hang of it, Mary (one of my cousins) and I decided to try double skis, while some of my cousins tried wake boarding. They were unsuccessful attempts, but nonetheless exhilarating. It was worth splashing and tumbling down to the water.
We also found out after three hours of knee boarding and attempting other water sports that we ought to do some strength training before going for a half-day rate at the watersports complex. Our arms and shoulders were hurting and we weren’t even halfway our half-day rate. The cashier did warn us to purchase only the hourly-rate…
Anyhow, it was so much fun that we’re thinking of getting a strength equipment to keep us in shape for the next trip where we try to conquer the world of wakeboarding, slalom, and double skis. ^_^

It’s almost March 31. This means I either need to double my effort in preparing to lose weight, or saving up to lose my bet with my officemate Grace.
Frankly, based from my depression hormones these past few days which has been sending me into a languid state, there’s a 50% chance that my current weight will just be the same until the 31st. Then again, I’ve been so swamped with work especially with the critical period in our company that I have been working during breaks and foregoing my snacks (imagine that!). Hmmmm… will keep you posted.
