apple green thing - the 812sh

Last week, while chatting with my kendo batchmate, JC, who now resides in Japan, I noticed that he has a peculiar display image – it highlighted this apple-green-thing on his keyboard laptop. On a closer inspection, and to my surprise, that apple-green-thing is actually a cell phone - a real, functioning mobile phone. It’s the SoftBank 812SH Pantone series by Sharp.
Amazed, I took the liberty of doing some research and found out that this sleek 3G phone’s main selling point is its availability in 20 Pantone colors. With a Pantone phone, you can really stand out and make a personal statement!
Impressed? That’s not all; Vodafone (aka Softbank) Japan’s 812SH is also compatible with S! FeliCa electronic money (which can be used for shopping and as membership/point cards), and includes a face-recognition security program for it.
There’s only one catch, as of the moment, SoftBank 812SH pantone phones availability is limited to Japan.
