a week in melbourne

A total of 40 Asian students were invited to join the educational tour in Australia as part of their curriculum. Everything had been arranged from visa to transportation, including the Melbourne Accommodation. My mom considers herself lucky to be one of the students in the tour because she didn’t have to spend a cent. In fact, they were even given extra money for their allowance.
Some of her companions requested to bring their family with them. These were the well-to-do who can afford to pay the extra expense of bringing other people to the tour (they also have to pay for their companions’ Accomodation in Melbourne of course). When my mom saw them as a family going to places in Melbourne, she couldn’t help but regret not bringing us, her family, with her.
Given another opportunity to visit Melbourne, even with her small savings, my mom promised to see to it that she’ll bring us with her for a vacation since traveling is better enjoyed with your loved ones. To cut down on the expense, she said we’ll avail of cheap hotels in Melbourne. That way, we we’ll have more money to spend on sight-seeing and on other activities in the area.
