Signs

Written on Saturday, 29 of January, 2011 at 11:15 pm

I have always had this weird interest for signs. I used to take photos with my little film camera a lot when I was about thirteen. osha signs piqued my interest when I was little. I used to stare at them and ask my mom what they meant.

I even dreamt of being an OSHA sign maker once, I’d make signs just for the fun of it and show my parents. They used to call me the “little sign girl”. My parents were proud of me for being such a curious little girl who always asked questions. They highly encouraged it, so most of my siblings found me annoying. Hahaha!

Electronic Muscle Simulator

Written on Monday, 24 of January, 2011 at 11:40 pm

Muscles are apparently the crucial part in the human body that facilitates movement. Athletes, martial artists, and dancers all exert more muscle function to carry on their graceful movements. But of course, muscles also may loss its endurance during short or long term activities. To recharge this energy requires different approach.

Such is a massage which stimulates blood flow in the muscle. The drawback here is that massage is a one-time experience. Exercise is another thing, which strengthens the muscle. But there are also different options. Like the use of an electronic muscle stimulator. In some ways, physiotherapist somewhat do a similar thing, to stimulate muscles to move more.

An electronic muscle stimulator does many conveniences. It is very simple to operate, depending on the design of the company. To achieve it, electrodes are found to be attached areas that develop more muscles. It greatly works in the abdomen. The principle is to stimulate the muscles electrically, which has a voltage suited for stimulation. A device regulates the function, especially the use of electricity.

Benefits of this stimulation include greater physical performance, endurance, and vitality in muscle movement. Ideal for different kinesthestic people who often move and enjoy their habits of moving.

Stress and Weight Loss

Written on Sunday, 16 of January, 2011 at 12:41 pm

I couldn’t help but notice how my sister has been losing a lot of weight recently. Most of the clothes that had a perfect fit on her now look like they’re hanging from a hanger.

I used to envy how her body was just the right type, not too fat and not too skinny, but now I think I even have a little more weight than her, and that is definitely not a good sign.

I looked for multivitamin supplements that help increase your appetite and help reduce stress.

I can only assume that one of the main causes of her weight loss would be the excessive amount of stress that her job gives her.

I’m going to take her out on a full body massage trip one of these days.

Don’t forget to take a break

Written on Wednesday, 12 of January, 2011 at 8:41 pm

My friends and I decided to take a few days break from work and just relax and unwind on the city where we all met way back during our college days.

We checked in a hotel and did nothing but have loads of fun! My friend made the itenerary, she filled it with fun activities like swimming and trips to landmarks we haven’t ever visited.

Most of us hesitated as we took off our bath robes and jumped to the pool. We just weren’t in the right shape like we used to be, and I couldn’t help but notice how my best friend had acne on her back. I asked her what happened, and she told me since she decided to have long hair, the whole situation happened.

I recommended a couple body acne products and went on and started reminiscing the good old college days.

Sometimes it’s nice to unwind and get away from all the stress that everyday life gives you.

Burning the fats with fat burning supplements

Written on Tuesday, 11 of January, 2011 at 9:54 pm

Have always dreamed of being even one or two sizes smaller than your present size? How about fat burning supplements to hasten the fat burning process?

Of course, the health issue is always the number one consideration when fat burning supplements are brought up on the table. However, no need to worry too much because there are natural fat burning supplements that can really help you lose those unwanted layers.

For example, you can always try fat burning supplements that contain ephedra and caffeine, components that are known to control appetite and increase energy level, helping you burn fats away – fast.

Aside from these natural fat burning supplements, you can also match them with a balanced diet, good and enough sleep and regular exercise. Remember, just taking fat burning supplements may not be enough (that’s why they are called supplements), so you still need to work your body a bit to achieve that dream size.

The right accessory

Written on Monday, 10 of January, 2011 at 9:22 am

Ever since the holiday season started, I have been looking for great deals involving Ipod accessories.

You see, since I bought my iPod, I bought the first cheap protective cover I could find, and intended to buy a better one that is more suited to my needs and taste in the near future.

Since I have such a busy schedule, I was not able to find one that I quite liked, and I did not exactly have the time to go on a journey for one, either.

I was looking for a minimalist and black or grey cover, but most of the designs nowadays are much too grand for my tastes.

If you have any accessories to recommend that are applicable to any of the things I have mentioned above, feel free to leave a note!

The Legendary Desktop

Written on Sunday, 9 of January, 2011 at 1:48 pm

Ever since the dawn of laptops came into existence, most of our personal computers at home started getting ignored for the mobility that laptops offer.

I could very much vouch for this fact, as our family computer started deteriorating, and its power supplies have slowly given up and died. Now all I could actually think of is putting it back to life and upgrading most of its components so it could perform even better than my current laptop.

I’ve long since been fond of big screens, and I still haven’t gotten quite used to the small keyboard and touch pad that my laptop uses, so I still have this need to buy bigger USB keyboards and an USB mouse, as well.

What specs do your personal computers have?

Fatherly Love

Written on Sunday, 2 of January, 2011 at 3:08 am

My brother used to play golf with my dad a lot. My dad started taking my brother with him since he was about six and he made my brother watch while he swung his golf club.

This intrigued my brother and it piqued his interest in the matter. He started practicing with my dad and all the other men in the club started noticing how my brother has potential.

My dad trained with him vigorously and took him to small competitions. From then on golf trophies started coming and my dad took every single one of them and put them in our living room.

I like looking at my brother’s trophies. For me it’s a symbol of fatherly love and pride.

Pocket knives certified “one of the best gifts for dad”

Written on Saturday, 1 of January, 2011 at 7:48 pm

Last year I was so clueless on what to give to my Dad as a Christmas gift. I find it hard to buy him gifts because he basically has everything (also he can buy anything he wants). So I consulted some friends of mine and good thing I took the right advice – “get him a high quality pocket utility knife”.

So I searched the net for the best quality pocket knife for the best price. After much googling I found the perfect knife – the spyderco delica pocket knife. I included their website so that you can attest to what I am saying. These knives are so cool, even girls love them.

Anyhow, I intentionally gave my Christmas gift “after” Christmas so that my Dad will appreciate it more (don’t ask). And it turned out he did! I saw his eyes with “WOAH” written on it as he opened the gift.

Kiddie Parties and Social Gatherings

Written on Saturday, 1 of January, 2011 at 4:08 pm

I went with my family to Cavite yesterday to celebrate the New Year with our relatives. Along with the new year, my nephew Reinald also had his Christening, so we decided to celebrate at a local family restaurant and organized a kiddie party.

My aunt was quite grateful for we volunteered to shoulder the expenses for her. She was worried they didn’t have enough to pay for everything so my brother and I shared all the expenses and paid for it.

I had a hard time convincing my brother to actually pay for everything, but in the end he gave in. He’s a nice guy, really, he just needs a bit of a push to do something for someone else.

Before we left the place, our aunt gave us a grateful smile and gave each of us baby thank you cards. It had photos of our cute little nephew in it, it was just plain adorable.

I like the feeling of helping others out, it’s such a satisfying feeling.
