SCORE

Written on Saturday, 30 of October, 2010 at 11:02 pm

I finally got my iPhone! It took me months to wait for it and I was depressed because I was quite embarrassed to show my friends that I had a cheap phone because I switched telephone providers. I have quite a high position and I didn’t want to go through having to explain to my friends why my phone was cheap.

Thank god my brother was nice enough to help me get an iPhone. Most of the iPhones from my current provider are out of stock, and the only new ones that they have are the 4G ones. I wasn’t too happy to get a 4G, because I don’t think it’s worth the cost, but I guess that’s fine.

What made me even happier about getting an iPhone was the iphone insurance that came with it. I’ve been such a klutz since I was young, so this is something I actually look forward to.

Scared of Aging? Buy Human Growth Hormone!

Written on Wednesday, 27 of October, 2010 at 3:16 am

Most of us are afraid of one thing aside from death – aging. It’ s understandable because there are a lot of things that you can’ t do as you age. Not only that you can’ t wear that favorite miniskirt of yours or that sexy, hunk top to attract girls, you lose the usual face that you see in your mirror in the morning. In effect, most of us lose self-confidence as we age.

I saw this in my mom. She suddenly went frantic about being ugly because her skin was soggy, her memory is not as good as it was, and her energy level is always done. For months, she didn’t leave the house unless for needed things like groceries and taking my youngest sister to school. Still, she whined about being aged, and ugly.

Until such time that she decided to buy human growth hormone (HGH). It was like she transformed – she was energetic again, her muscles got toned, her skin and skin tone improved (no more soggy skin), she has sharp memory again. In addition, she got more focused, and her self-confidence got back to where it should be. Plus, she and Dad found more reasons to stay together (). And she doesn’ t whine anymore!

HGH could be helpful to combating aging, but make sure that you still ask your doctor about it. Age safely!

Texas Maritime Lawyers

Written on Tuesday, 26 of October, 2010 at 3:53 am

Being the second biggest state located at the south-central portion of US, Texas is well known for making sure its employees are well taken care of. The state makes sure that sound working conditions are provided to all. This also covers maritime employees.

Texas Maritime lawyers also consider state labor laws like the ones below whenever applicable:

1. Texas Minimum Wage Act: An employee in Texas should receive federal minimum wage amounting to 5.15USD per hour, according to the fair labor standards act.

2. Discrimination; Race, nationality, religion and age are just a few of things thatemployers usually use as basis for discrimination. In Texas, discrimination of whatever basis is prohibited by law.

3. Employee’s hand book: Employment rules should be clear to the employee, and these rules should be written in a handbook, issued to the employee upon employment and to be surrendered to the employee upon end of service.

4. Safety of workplace. No employee should be subjected to dangerous and hazardous workplace. If work includes dealing with dangerous and hazardous chemicals or wastes, proper protection gear must be provided.

These are only a few of the state labor laws applicable in Texas.

I cannot believe she suggested Botox

Written on Sunday, 24 of October, 2010 at 5:43 pm

They say that keeping yourself happy will prevent rapid aging and prevent wrinkles from forming on your face. This may not be true always. Personally, I enjoy my life and my friends in the office. When working I never miss an hour when there’s no funny thing happening in the office. Recently I saw my face with wrinkles around the eyes. I went to my dermatologist to ask if she had some anti wrinkle creams and she gave me some. She told me that laughing too much may have caused my muscles to overly stretch my skin around the eyes. She suggested that I get a Botox to relax the muscles until my wrinkles fade.

Personally I thought she was ridiculous. The idea of preventing my facial muscles from moving is kind of harsh. Besides, Botox treatments are temporary so after some time my muscles will become active again when I laugh and I’ll be back to square one of my wrinkle problem. Fortunately, as I was browsing the net, I found some wrinkle cream reviews sites that suggest better wrinkle creams. One product here caught my interest so I might get it on the weekend.

My Cousin Needs Your Help

Written on Saturday, 23 of October, 2010 at 10:51 pm

My cousin has been looking for Outer Banks foreclosures, he’s always had trouble managing things–including property.

Ever since we were young everything he touched would be destroyed. We used to call him “The Destroyer” for that, and up until now, he still lives up to his title. It’s funny, really.

Do you have any Foreclosures to recommend? It would really be greatly appreciated. Feel free to just comment on this page. I gave the link to my cousin and I made sure he checks it everyday.

He knew I blogged a lot and that people read this, so he figured posting a little question/survey would help him look for a decent foreclosure.

The Media and its Brainwashing

Written on Friday, 22 of October, 2010 at 9:05 am

Since I was young, I have been surrounded by weight conscious people. Most of them bought gym equipment from TV shopping, some tried surgeries and others have tried pills.

But what are the best fat burners? How do we know that they’re effective?

Since the dawn of media, we have been brainwashed into thinking that slim, anorexic women are beautiful. What is pleasing to the eyes isn’t pleasing to the touch, sadly.

I’m not saying being fat is good, it can lead to complications like heart attacks if taken lightly. Self esteem is key. It is where everything else starts.

A Friend In Need

Written on Saturday, 16 of October, 2010 at 11:06 pm

My friend has been quite insecure about her body for years, and for quite a while I have been trying to console her by telling her that physical appearances mean nothing.

The sad part is, to most people these days, they’re usually everything. I want to recommend one of the best fat burner supplements to her, but I’ve never really had any problem with fat, or needed anything related to reducing or burning fat. I eat a lot for my body type and people tend to be surprised when they see me eat.

If you have anything to recommend it would be greatly appreciated if you comment on this post. I will be reading all of your replies and investigating each of your recommendations. Detailed descriptions and side effects would also be read carefully and objectively.

Thank you so much, I just want to help make my friend feel better about herself.

On cleaning up garden ponds

Written on Saturday, 16 of October, 2010 at 8:40 pm

Fish ponds are usually the highlight of landscaped gardens. Like in our house, we have a small pond with a dozen Japanese Koi fishes. Whenever guests come to our house, they always look at the pond. The pond seem to have a relaxing effect on the eyes. It is just like a patch of nature in the city.

Ponds however are high maintenance. They basically need to be cleaned every week or else the water will stink and the fishes will die. Fortunately, one of the visitors suggested that I use pond filters to help clean the pond. These filters clean the water all the time so you only need to clean the filter instead of the whole pond. Now I am not anymore stressed about cleaning the pond.

Pre thanksgiving party with friends

Written on Friday, 15 of October, 2010 at 7:55 pm

Stressful days like this calls for some relaxation and fun. And what could be more fun than outdoor grilled burgers with friends and a Big Bang Theory marathon? Yep, it seems to be the only thing making me laugh nowadays. Good thing I bought the dvd collection from ebay last week. And so I invited my friends over. They’ll be here later around 7 just in time for dinner. They’ll be bringing the food and I’ll be in charge of beer and entertainment. They don’t drink much because most of them have jobs for health care. I think they have a policy against alcoholism in their company. Anyhow, tonight will be a sort of advanced thanksgiving party for us friends since most of us will be having thanksgiving with their families on that day.

Looks like I’m already set up for later’s event. I’m so tired so I think I’ll get a nap so that I’ll have more energy later. I think my work can wait anyway. I wonder if you guys also do this with friends? Usually, thanksgivings are celebrated in clubs here in the city. Yet I still prefer the old traditional way.

On finishing my work before thanksgiving

Written on Friday, 15 of October, 2010 at 7:34 pm

For the past two months I have been working on this software yet I cannot seem to finish it. There are still a lot of errors and quite a list of functionalities I have to add. The stress seem to have gotten into my system already. I can literally feel my brain swelling right now, and my eyes are about to pop up due to long hours of working. Yet, only due to sheer determination, I am able to pursue this task. My goal is to finish it next week, just in time for the long thanksgiving holidays.

Speak of the holidays, I definitely get good headphones if they’re on sale. My current earphones are the only thing that keeps my sanity right now. However, months of constant use seem to have worn them off quickly. Also, in-ear phones can be painful on the ears on prolonged use. Headphones may seem bulky, but they definitely feel great on the ears. I’ll definitely be able to afford them now from all the overtime pay I’ll be getting.
