The Traveling Shopper

Written on Wednesday, 29 of April, 2009 at 8:25 am

I was heading for San Francisco when my friend called out of the blue. She said I have to get her some HGH products. I asked what on earth that was for and she said that she’d test every f-ing pill that there is on the planet that will help her gain a few more inches. I told her, she’s way past the growing stage already but she kept on insisting that this was it. So before even hitting the Castro District I actually looked for the damned products that she was looking for.

I haven’t even paid for it when my aunt called and started giving me her list of stuff that I should get for her. I guess this is what traveling is all about.

Losing pounds of decades

Written on Tuesday, 28 of April, 2009 at 11:26 pm

My friend who has had trouble losing weight for the last couple of decades was talking to me the other day. She apparently tried almost every form of exercise. Every strict diet, all weight loss pills but to no avail she never maintained the weight loss that she’d get from all of these. I asked if she ever tried yoga, apparently she hasn’t. So I told her, maybe that would really help. The shifting of your appetite will not be forced but it will all seem natural because your body will start looking for stuff that’s good for it and would stay away from stuff that’s bad for it. She wasn’t into the whole meditation thing but if it’s weight loss that it promises, she will give it a shot.

So next week, I’ll be bringing her to the studio and hopefully the weight loss she gains from it is the one that will be permanent.

Colon cleansing

Written on Thursday, 23 of April, 2009 at 10:14 pm

I was browsing the net and stumbled upon a review site about Colonix reviews. From what I have read, the Colon (a part of the digestive – excretory system) is responsible for storing digestive waste until it is excreted by the body. Because of unhealthy diet, the waste along colon lining thickens until the body cannot get rid of it anymore; this causes bloating, awful smelling gas, and indigestion. This is also one of the suspected causes of colon cancer.

There are several ways to clean the colon. Eating fiber-enriched food in one. This promotes regular bowel movement. Another is colon irrigation which is done manually by a medical professional which produces instant results although very expensive. Still another way is by taking artificial colon cleansing tablets. These pills have enzymes which clean the colon but be aware that some have side effects. It’s best to ask your doctor about it first.

You’ve Just Been Lawyered!

That’s one of the most catchy lines I picked up from the hit TV series, How I Met Your Mother. It’s such an epic series, it never fails to amuse me.

Mesothelioma lawyers sure have a heckload of responsibility. If you’re wondering what Mesothelioma is, it’s a kind of disease. It’s actually necessary to start legal proceedings to protect the rights of those who are concerned, so yeah. I’ve heard of these kind of lawyears and I salute them for choosing to help the sick ones.

Shopping for Other People

Written on Wednesday, 8 of April, 2009 at 9:07 am

Yesterday, I was bored as hell. I had nothing to do at all. So what I did was I asked a couple of people who I knew were completely busy if they need something bought at the mall. Five people responded and were very thankful that I offered that service. I got the strangest of requests from them. One of them asked me for a beach ball, the other a polka dots panty and another was Solo Slim.

After shopping, I proceeded to each of their houses to drop off the stuff I brought them and guess what, I had five dinners yesterday as thank you from them. I felt great for helping them out in my own little way but I was hella plump before the night ended.

I’m-sorry-for-the-April-Fool’s-joke NYC treat

Written on Sunday, 5 of April, 2009 at 8:28 pm

It’s the holy week and I’m stuck at home. Thanks to the internet, I’ll be productive being home alone. That is, while some people are relaxing away in beaches, I’ll be leveling up my knowledge and skills.

Yep. I AM being bitter. I’d definitely choose the beach over being productive. I mean, you have the ENTIRE year to be productive. Summer is only a few months. Then again, I remembered I owe my best friend an out of town trip for the practical joke I played on him on April Fool’s which I overdid and made him angry.

Since I’m a big fan of the movie “Love Affair” and the TV series “Sex and the City“, and there currently are discounted tours available online, I decided to make reservations in a New York City hotel and avail of their tour wherein you get to:

  • see the Madison Square Garden, Macy’s, Empire State Building (one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, and also THE meeting place in “Love Affair“), SoHo, Chinatown, Wall Street, and Central Park.
  • glide along on a New York Harbor Cruise (we love cruise!), which includes up close looks of the Brooklyn Bridge, The Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island.
  • ride a Double Decker Bus that travels everywhere from Downtown, Uptown to Harlem and Brooklyn (we’ll definitely be sitting in the open air upper level of the bus for great sights of NYC).

I haven’t paid the hotel and tour yet. I’m still waiting for his go signal. I hope he says yes to an unforgettable, fun-filled holy week in New York (as my I’m-sorry-for-the-April-Fool’s-joke treat)! ^_^
