ain’t gonna let you touch it!

Writing by wisteria on Thursday, 31 of January, 2008 at 11:00 pm

I’d like to share with you what my cousin told me about “tender points” or what they call fibromyalgia. She said it has no treatment and it petrified me. However as she elaborated on what it meant, I was relieved to find out that at least the symptoms such as difficulty in sleeping, headaches and difficulty with thinking and memory which was occasionally called “fibro fog” can be alleviated.

How? Well, this type of disorder responsible for muscle pains, fatigue with unknown etiology and that usually affects middle-aged women, can be relieved by exercising, getting enough rest, eating well-balanced diet and reducing the stress inducers.

Therefore, the right management would be to avoid the precipitating factors, and make sure that you have time for leisure or de-stressing.

i punched another hole on my belt!

Writing by wisteria on Saturday, 26 of January, 2008 at 10:13 pm

Speaking of weight loss I have read in a reliable journal this afternoon, regarding diet pills that it is indeed helpful in losing weight so long as you complement it with proper diet and exercise. But it is much better if you start off with the proper diet and exercise first then the right medication.

A lot of people plunk down their money on diet pills without knowing the proper way to lose weight. Experts say that engaging in sports will help you trim down excess fats coupled with healthy foods.

My advice to healthy living? EAT RIGHT, and take the medications as a last resort, but with proper exercise.

fighting the effect of a sedentary lifestyle

Writing by wisteria on Saturday, 26 of January, 2008 at 8:55 pm

When I was a kid, I ate a lot without gaining a pound. That’s why I used to wonder why there are fat old people in the world.

Now that I’m in the early 20’s and with a lifestyle that spends most of the time typing in front of a computer, I found the answer – the sedentary lifestyle. This is what makes people go “festively plump” as Eric Cartman from South Park nicely puts it.

Unfortunately, I’m starting to gain weight. I acquired 10 lbs in just 3 months. If I’m not careful, I just might end up like Eric Cartman *shiver*. Which is why, I really need to invest on a fitness equipment that I can still use in spite of my hectic schedule. Sigh. I hope by March, I already burned at least 5 lbs.

wearing chains

Writing by wisteria on Thursday, 24 of January, 2008 at 8:26 pm

Jewelry nowadays seem like a very essential accessory for women. There are wide ranges of designs and lots of kinds to choose from like necklaces and bracelets. Of course we would not be able to wear jewelry without their chains. Have you ever seen a necklace without a chain?

There are many materials of chains, but all of my friends recommend the gold chain as the best chain for your jewelry needs. Some of my friends recommend the silver chain but based on my experience, I would recommend you to use the gold chain too. The gold chain is available in a variety of lengths.

Did you know that gold is even used for money? It’s like wearing money on you. Nice, huh? Why don’t you try it? For further comments, please don’t hesitate to post one on this blog post.

Boots, boots, boots!

Writing by wisteria on Sunday, 20 of January, 2008 at 10:00 am

I have been addicted to boots since I was a teen and I can say that I have experienced a lot of ups and downs with my pairs of boots. Not only do they provide you with comfort and heat during cold weather, they also scream, “I HAVE A VERY UNIQUE FASHION SENSE!”

If you are addicted to boots like I am, you should try Emu Australia. They provide a wide range of boots. Their designs are not like those stereotype-boots that the famous stars wear nowadays. They have a unique touch of the Australian race in them. From kids’ to adults’ boots, they all rock!

on jumping into conclusions

Writing by wisteria on Wednesday, 16 of January, 2008 at 9:08 pm

My cousin Abi was sobbing to death when I called her up last Monday. She taught her boyfriend, Chad, was cheating on her. I’m not so sure how she found out but it’s like her boyfriend was sleeping when she just thought of checking his cell phone.

Unfortunately, there was this girl she was really curious of so she asked him if he is seeing the girl. As a defense mechanism of many, Chad got annoyed and threw his phone on the wall and left her place. Abi wrote him a “break-up letter” and was decided to break up with him the next day.

The next day came, Abi received a message from Chad to accompany him at the mall, and so confusion started whether or not she’ll pursue with the break-up or not because of the sudden invitation of Chad. At the mall, Chad grabbed Abi to a store nearby and guided her to the diamond rings section. To her astonishment, he gave her a ring and explained to her that the girl on the phone was one of the sales ladies he has been contacting for follow-up of the availability of his made-to-order ring for Abi.

Speaking of not prying into other’s personal stuffs… 0:p

it’s much for fun with two

Writing by wisteria on Tuesday, 15 of January, 2008 at 9:09 am

I’m seriously considering staying in one of those posh Condo Hotels and locking myself up there until I get a grip and decide on what I really want to do with my life.

My life is fine right now. I have a great and high-paying job, happy and complete family (a bit financially unstable though), and a nice home. But I guess people are really insatiable. They want to have all the cake and eat it too…

I want someone to share all those stuff with. As Piglet said, “It’s much more fun with two.” I absolutely agree.

highly recommended Ethernet cable

Writing by wisteria on Saturday, 12 of January, 2008 at 9:46 pm

I have tried many products to help me with networking, especially cables. Most of them have equal pros and cons, but the cable that satisfied me most is the Cat6.

This was highly recommended by my brother who is a network administrator. Our family asks him everything and anything about networking and he said that by far, Cat6 is the best Ethernet cable. It has a lot of functions like supporting gigabit and communications at twice the speed of Cat5e, and many more.

Still, our technology is updating constantly. Should you know something better than this type of cable, just comment in your recommendation. Thank you very much!

on detoxifying

Writing by wisteria on Monday, 7 of January, 2008 at 7:53 pm

Chad’s best friend has been living a sedentary lifestyle for a few months now since he was terminated from work. He spent his savings until his last penny by partying, food tripping, and not to mention being a couch potato watching football and movies. Chad and my cousin found his place a total mess– you can just imagine how the after-the-party scenario looks like; and of course his buddy lying on his back on the couch. They tried to help him recover from his depression by engaging in sports Chad and Abi are into, and attend some organizations to get him going again. Abi suggested that he should first have a colon cleanse to detoxify his body from the toxins that have built up in his colon caused by excessive food intake residues that formed mucoid plaques thereby causing several abnormalities in his system like constipation, acne, obesity and other diseases.

If it is not for their help, I bet he must be worse than he was right now.
