I just came from a two-day Internet Marketing Event wherein high-profile internet marketers from around the world shared their experiences and some knowledge on how they have achieved their success. These two days is probably one of the highlights in my internet marketing career – I’m definitely going to be rich. And not just rich, I’ll be one of the New Rich!
For those who don’t know what the “New Rich” is, these are people with passive recurring income who have a lot of time for themselves and their loved ones to do pretty much whatever they want. ^_^
The attendees of the event range from staff, to managers, and business owners. I even met two people, John and Maicel, who came on their own and paid for the event themselves for personal gain. The attire also ranged from casual to semi-formal and corporate attire. Then again, it doesn’t matter if you come in breeches or just a simple T-shirt. The main question at the end of the day is, “Will you be willing to take the risk and follow the speaker’s footsteps in becoming the New Rich?”
I am.

I have been planning to upgrade myself for the longest time now, but I’ve been setting it aside; mainly because I’m on a tight budget right now. However, when I found out that my existing position in my current company is the highest I can climb in the corporate ladder (unless I move to another company), I decided that it’s high time I invest on leveling up.
My friend Mark was able to find a site offering online bachelor degree and short courses. At the moment though, I just need the short project management course with certification. It’s a bit pricey though so I was really happy when I found out that I can use my credit card to enroll there! *whew!* Thank God for credit cards. And thank you, Mark, for helping me with my financial statements, which made my leveling up possible! ^_^

Finally I got home. The long wait I had earlier was certainly excruciating. I just got to find another dermatologist as good as that one with a better schedule.
Anyhow, it’s good to know that I won’t need any expensive creams and stuff to heal by acne. I was given some pills to regulate my hormones and some soap to take care of the acne. During the check-up, I found out that I had blackheads on my back as well.
What are blackheads? well, these are pores of the skin which are clogged by solidified oil. Usually blackheads appear on the nose and cheeks but can also be seen on arms and back just like in my case.
From Wikipedia:
“A blackhead (medically known as an open comedo,[1] plural comedones)[2] is a yellow or blackish bump or plug on the skin. A blackhead is a type ofacne vulgaris. Contrary to the common belief that it is caused by poor hygiene, blackheads are caused by excess oils that have accumulated in thesebaceous gland’s duct.”
Apparently, these blackheads already existed before but I was not able to notice them. Anyhow, the derma removed those blackheads earlier.

I am patient number 32, only 5 more to go. I was in this derma clinic from 1 in the afternoon and now it’s already 6:51 in the evening. My patience is certainly running out. Good thing I was able to connect to the free WiFi of the hospital, if not, I probably went home after a couple of hours waiting.
The other patients are also getting impatient and grumpy. The problem with this clinic is, they process the clients on a “first come, first served” basis. The only thing keeping me from going home now is the determination to do something about my hormonal acne. It’s been bugging me since last week and since our summer beach outing is coming on May, I must get rid of this acne to be able to wear my swimsuit.
Last week I’ve noticed that I had irregular menstruation, and then I got breakouts. My acne has spread to my back and it really looks ugly. I just hope this dermatologist can do something about my acne, and fast.

I’ve been having the weirdest craving for ice cream these past few days.
It’s really weird, how I eat ice cream, and staring at it hard and enjoying eating it, yet end up craving for more minutes after. I’ve been eating ice cream in between my meals for about three weeks now, yet MY STOMACH IS NEVER SATISFIED.
I actually stared at a couple used golf balls and thought it was vanilla ice cream until I touched it.. It’s really driving me insane.
Craving for ice cream isn’t so bad though, I mean.. WHO DOESN’T LIKE ICE CREAM ?!

There was this interesting ad I saw in the net.
It says: The official, easy-to-use punctuation mark to emphasize a sarcastic phrase, sentence or message, click here to learn more.
The SarcMark is just amazing. It really makes sense. Sarcasm is a little hard to detect especially during chats and written messages so this new punctuation mark will surely make your messages easier to understand and more fun. The SarcMark will cost you around 2 dollars to download, but who cares? Two dollars can’t even buy a Toblerone nowadays.
I think the inventors of this product are very creative not to mention very good in making business. In the SarcMark website, they even have merchandise like clothes and stuff with their patented SarcMark logo. Who would ever think that a simple logo could generate so much money. It’s just so cool!

Gone are the days of the hairy flabby men. More and more men are becoming conscious about their figure nowadays yet most of the advertised weight loss products are specifically formulated for women only. My dad became crazy about diet pills the moment he saw mom slim down. He tried some brands of weight loss pills but they are just not suitable for him.
My dad is not really a tech savvy guy so I helped him search for weight loss pills in Google. I typed in fat burner for men on the search box and voila!
Seeing the search results, my dad got so excited he printed out the brands and descriptions of the products. I guess he got too excited because he already went to the mall to get those pills. I still do not know why he is acting this way. Nope he’s not drugged or anything. Maybe he’s just having the “midlife crisis” hehe. Anyhow, I bet he’ll come home empty handed because excited as he is, he is still very budget conscious and he won’t spend money on stuff that he is not sure about.

Most of us have been affected by acne during puberty when our hormones started to freak out. Eventually the acne just disappears after about two years (of humiliation). That kind of acne is just probably just cause by hormonal imbalance and is easily treated by our friendly dermatologists. Adult acne in the other hand affects us in later years and is caused by toxins accumulated in our body. This is why adult acne treatments are different from the creams that our derma suggested when we were young. Believe it or not, adult skin is more sensitive than teen skin because adult skin cannot heal that fast anymore compared to teen skin. Also years of using cosmetics and night creams might have affected the skin’s natural defense system against allergens. This is probably the reason why adult acne is very common nowadays.
To rid of this problem, we must be conscious with detoxifying our body. Since acne is caused by toxins, it just follows that detoxification will solve the problem. There are a lot of ways we can detoxify our body. Water therapy is the simplest among the other ways. Drinking plenty of warm water everyday combined with exercise can really help the body’s immune system to fight infections like acne.

Since we’ll be gone for four days and three nights for my sister’s wedding, we wanted to make sure that our house and things will be safe during that period. Consequently, we went to the mall two days before the wedding and purchased a driveway alarm which signals you for unexpected detections for security purposes.
What’s really great about the driveway alarm we purchased is that these units can give you approximately 1500’ range between transmitter and receiver, and in some cases you may get a distance of to 3000’. Moreover, it’s weatherproof! We already asked our neighbor if they could house the receiver during the duration that we’re gone and they were very accommodating.
We already have everything installed and tested. Now we’re all good to go for the wedding! ^_^

I have been unable to drive our car since December 2009. And no, it’s not because I scratched the car and had to pay for those expensive Ferrari parts to have them fixed. It’s actually more embarrassing than that - I lost my driver’s license.
I’m pretty sure I didn’t lose it though. It’s just within the premises of our house. Then again, it hasn’t showed up for more than a month, so I decided to just have my license duplicated this first week of February. I was actually surprised because the duplication process took less than 2 hours!
Now my only problem is… getting my driving skills back to it’s not-so-hazardous phase. Driving well is similar to playing the guitar, once you learn it, you’ll never lose it… BUT constant practice makes you a better guitarist. And well, as for me, I need to spend more time driving to make sure I’m safely back on track - literally.
